Greeley is home to a growing workforce and a hardworking community. It is a mid-sized agricultural city and college town. In 2018 the U.S, Census Bureau estimated the population at 107,348 making Greeley the twelfth most populous city in Colorado.

Greeley is also the home to the University of Northern Colorado. UNC offers more than 200 undergraduate, graduate, extended campus and online programs. Not only is UNC a top educational institute but it is also one of the largest employers in Greeley.

Greeley is also known for its city events. The Greeley Stampede draws people from all of the U.S. The Stampede is a 10+ day festival known for an Independence Day Parade, concert series, PRCA rodeo series, American Bullfighting event, a Demolition Derby, carnival and children’s activities. During the holiday season, the residents also celebrate the Festival of Trees and the Greeley Lights the Night Parade.
